About the Keynote Speaker
Dr. Stacy Klein-Gardner received a BSE in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University in 1991. She then earned her MS in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University in 1993 and her PhD in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1996. She currently serves on the Drexel School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems' Executive Advisory Council.
Stacy Klein-Gardner's career focuses on growing the engineering workforce, giving all students an engineering literacy, and developing high-quality teacher professional development in engineering. She is the founding executive director of Engineering for US All (e4usa), the non-profit company, having served as the co-PI and co-director of the National Science Foundation-funded Engineering for U.S. All (e4usa) project. Dr. Klein-Gardner is also an adjunct professor of Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, where she provides educational evaluation for the Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering’s National Institutes of Health-funded T32 training grant. She is very active in the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), formerly serving as the chair of the ASEE P12 Commission and the Pre-College Engineering Education division. She is a Fellow of ASEE and American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering.

We look forward to celebrating our graduates at the University-wide Commencement ceremony, where our newest Forever Dragons will get the chance to participate in a procession around the baseball field and have their degrees conferred before being officially welcomed into the ranks of Drexel alumni.
