Melissa Clemmer

Melissa Clemmer is executive director of the Drexel University Lenfest Center for Cultural Partnerships. She is an experienced exhibit developer, collaborative project manager, and grant writer. She oversees the Lenfest Center’s program sponsoring cultural nonprofit co-ops, and assists the Atwater Kent Collection and Drexel Libraries, Collections & Archives with special initiatives. She also assisted University & Community Partnerships from 2017-24. With the Lenfest Center since its launch in 2015, she has co-curated exhibitions for Atwater Kent, National Museum of Industrial History, VisionForward National Gender Equality Initiative, and First Bank of the US. Prior to Drexel she developed exhibitions for Benjamin Franklin Museum, Ben Franklin 300, PA Civil War 150 Road Show, Academy of Natural Sciences, Carpenters’ Hall, Mercer Museum, Willard Library, and Los Angeles County Fair, and produced interpretive plans for historic sites. She became a Certified Interpretive Planner in 2013, and has an MEd and teaching certificate from Kutztown University and BFA from Moore College of Art & Design.
