Drexel’s Class of 2025 Drink: Dubai Chocolate Latte

The viral Dubai chocolate bar has become a sensation online and around the world — and now, it’s on Drexel University’s campus (sort of). The TikTok treat — a chocolate bar stuffed with kataifi (shredded phyllo strands) and creamy pistachio — inspired the signature Class of 2025 drink celebrating this year’s graduating Drexel students.

The Pret a Manger at the Summit, located at 3400 Lancaster Ave. on the University City Campus, will be offering a Pret x Class of 2025 Dubai Chocolate Latte from now until the end of June. The hot or iced drink is mixed with chocolate, pistachio syrup, espresso and your choice of milk.

University students voted for this to be the signature drink during a poll held earlier this year. It was collected during an open submission call of possible student-submitted drink flavors, and Pret’s location manager created several drink recipes for students to vote on. The other flavored drinks were a strawberry matcha and a lavender blueberry sunshine tea.

And for an extra Drexel twist: the winning drink was sampled and photographed by a group of Drexel co-op students.
