About Me
Growing up in Arkansas, I always knew I wanted to relocate to the East Coast. After finishing my Master's, I packed up and moved to the wonderful city of Philadelphia. I am passionate about serving students from all walks of life and happy to help transfer students come to Drexel University. I love spending my time exploring the city and finding the best coffee shops around!
What advice would you give to a student considering transferring?
Don’t be afraid to ask all kinds of questions. You want to choose the best university for YOU. That can take some time, so be sure to apply early and schedule a campus visit if you can. We want you to feel supported in your journey, so we are happy to help you.
Favorites
Place on Campus:
I would say Main Building is one of my favorite places on campus. You can’t help but look around and admire the beautiful architecture. The historical feel of the city really shows within the Main Building and around campus.
Restaurant/Food Truck:
One thing about Philly, you’re going to find some great food. I’m a big pasta gal so if you're looking for some yummy pasta, go to Giuseppe & Sons. You will not be disappointed.
Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
From sunrise to sunset, you can always visit the Schuylkill Trail! I love being able to see the city when I go for a jog and the Schuylkill Trail is perfect. Because the trail is so long, you can always change your jogging route.
